THE DANUBE DELTA and THE CARPATHIANS 6 days / 5 nights
The Danube Delta features a most restless landscape as the interaction between the River Danube and the Black Sea is constantly shaping and remodeling it.
Here is a vast area of reeds and shifting land that provides a unique habitat for over three hundred species of birds (many of them found nowhere else in Europe), as well as shelter for other wildlife. The Delta is a paradise for bird watching as birds pass through from Mongolia, India and China during the spring and autumn migrations, while others come from Africa to breed in the summer.
The Carpathians are a vast mountain range, a symphony of untamed nature. Here you will discover a rich diversity of flora and fauna. The dense forests shelter wolves, deer, Carpathian bears, chamois and other wildlife.
