Please note that we do not include flights in our tour cost. This is because lower individual fares can often be found directly with the airlines. Booking your flights separately also allows you more flexibility over travel dates and departure points. Many of our clients like to stay on in Romania to visit other areas or friends etc. However, we do have much expertise in flight reservations to Romania and we will be very happy to assist you in finding the best available options. Please refer to our flights page for details.

Day 1: Flight from UK to Bucharest. Transfer to Brasov (approx 3 hours) for overnight stay. Dinner and getting to know your fellow bike riders will be followed by a short walking tour of the old, historic town.
Day 2: Our adventure begins with a bike climb through the forests from Brasov up to Poiana Brasov, Romania’s premier
mountain ski resort , and then descending through Rasnov and onto Bran. Dinner and overnight accommodation in a small country chalet.
Day 3: "Welcome to Transylvania, my friend, I have been eagerly awaiting you", Count Dracula. This could be our morning greeting as we visit Bran Castle, home of
Transylvania's most infamous inhabitant. Find out the facts and the fiction. Riding over wide mountain paths and on twisting mountain roads, we gradually make the climb to Trei Brazi with its magnificent panoramic views over the Southern Carpathians and our overnight accommodation and great food.
Day 4: Today we head down through the mountain resort of
Predeal before climbing up the Susaia mountain on the other side of the valley. Then descending through the Azuga Valley we make for our well-earned evening meal and accommodation at Sorica Lodge.
Day 5: Descending from Sorica our ride today leads us through the Azuga Valley and on through the Prahova Valley to the
mountain town of Sinaia. After a visit to the impressive former royal residence, Peles Palace we will ride up the mountains once more to Stana Regala with its stunning views over the Carpathians. Then it's time for a relaxing and enjoyable evening over dinner at our overnight accommodation.
Day 6: After a leisurely morning our Transylvanian tour sadly comes to a close as we leave the mountains
for Bucharest and our return flight home. If there's time, we shall take a short tour of Bucharest before going to the airport.
La revedere! See you next time?
The ride will be challenging but also suitable for those with a good degree of fitness and used to mountain biking over varied terrain.
